This pattern is a repeating dove (which symbolise peace), it might resemble a cross or swastika, however I especialy left the center blank to give a different feeling. Updated: 2008-08-22 03:54:27

Based on an old Indonesian pattern, this patterns takes its inspiration from garuda's wings, different from the old pattern, this one introduces the three circles as a new element, simplified and also the pattern has been redrawn and retouched. Updated: 2008-09-05 14:39:13

I have re-interpreted this design from an original Japanese Kimano pattern, it is definetly a traditional pattern. The differences from the original and this one is the location of triangles - as they do not touch in the original, the eyes of the bird, as it is mostly a line in original, and the part that grows back which does not exist in the original.
